Crafted using Tunisian (afghan) crochet, the outer border is finished with two neat rows of single crochet for a clean edge. Those nine squares? They are entirely embroidered with cross stitch, adding detailed, hand-sewn charm. This pattern depends on a set of graphs to create each of the nine squares after the initial crochet is completed and the panels are carefully sewn together. The overall effect is truly quite stunning!

This pattern has been thoughtfully rewritten from its vintage format to make it significantly more modern and easier to read; all the while still ensuring that the original end product remains the same. The intention was to maintain the charm of the original design while enhancing clarity for contemporary crafters.
