This festive American Flag Afghan is created by crocheting multiple motifs for the star field with a diagram for construction and placement. The red and white stripes are formed using a pattern similar to what you would see in making of a granny square - 3 dc and chain 1. This pattern has been slightly rewritten from its original vintage format and restored to like new.
